Vitamin A can help diminish the depth of wrinkles. It actually puffs up skin and attracts moisture to the area to which its applied. This moisture not only helps to flush out impurities, but helps the skin to be more hydrated, soft, and supple.
Interestingly enough, vitamin A is also used in derivatives called retinoids. Retinoids help to DRY out the skin, reducing acne! Topical vitamin A derivatives dry sebum which is the skin oil most responsible for the cause of acne. They also help to exfoliate the top layer of skin, opening the pores and allowing them more access to medications and topical treatments which cure the pore blocking acne.
One vitamin can do so much: attract moisture to hydrate the skin, and be used in retinoids which help to DRY the skin and reduce acne!
So… be sure that every day after cleansing, exfoliating and freshening, and before moisturizing, youre applying your vitamin A! I use a solution which contains vitamins A, C, and E.
Human skin absorbs up to 64% of what we place on it. Too many people place nothing on their skin except for the oils on their fingers when they rest their hands upon their faces. Effectively, were starving our skin of needed vitamins. Just as we take a multivitamin supplement daily to help our diet do what it needs to do with our body, we need to apply vitamins daily to our facial skin.
